What is MABStone
Stone-refined lime,
elevated to art
MABStone Venetian Plaster is a handcrafted blend of natural lime putty, marble dust and mineral pigments, with roots in ancient Roman and Renaissance architecture. Applied in thin, overlapping layers and burnished by hand, it creates a surface of depth, translucency and warmth no synthetic coating can replicate.
Lime is not an ingredient in MABStone. It is its foundation.
Unlike paint, it is a living mineral system. It continues to carbonate and harden after application, bonding with the wall and growing stronger over years, not weaker.

Never Repaint
The colour is mineral pigment bonded into the plaster itself. It will not fade, peel or need refreshing, and the surface grows harder with age.

The lime surface breathes, releasing moisture instead of trapping it, and its natural alkalinity keeps mould and bacteria away without chemical additives.
Heals Itself
Hairline marks seal themselves as the lime keeps curing long after application. Your wall gets stronger every year, not weaker.

- 3 m² per litre at 0.2 mm thickness
- Minimum 2 coats for full depth and luminosity
- Best results on smooth, primed substrates
- Suitable for walls and ceilings
- Seal with MABShield Wax on completion
- Allow each coat to cure before burnishing

The Finishing Step
MABShield Wax
Included in Every Kit
A natural carnauba wax formulated for lime plaster. It penetrates and bonds with the lime matrix rather than sealing over it, adding water repellency and colour depth while keeping the surface breathable.
Enhances Depth
Refracts light within the lime-marble layers, bringing out warmth and the characteristic glow beneath.
Water Repellent
A hydrophobic surface that resists splashes and humidity without trapping moisture in the wall.
Stays Breathable
Unlike varnishes, it preserves vapour permeability. The wall continues to breathe naturally.
Low-Sheen Finish
A soft, organic lustre, the natural appearance of polished lime, never a plastic sheen.
